Visit WestchesterClerk.com to Obtain Form Today

WHITE PLAINS, NY: The form on which a pistol permit holder can request their name and address not be made public was released by the New York State Police on Friday, February 15, 2013. According to the NYSAFE Act, the gun-control law passed last month which provided for the form, pistol permit holders have sixty days to return the forms to the Office of the Westchester County Clerk so that their personal information cannot be made public under the state’s Freedom of Information Law.    

“In order to be sure that all Westchester County pistol permit holders have equal access to the form, our office is mailing the form to each active pistol permit holder,” stated Westchester County Clerk Timothy C. Idoni. “The form is also available at WestchesterClerk.com and can be picked up in our White Plains office,” continued Idoni. Forms should be mailed to:
