Hunting and Fishing

The Office of the County Clerk will be closing at 4:00pm on this Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The County Department of Information Technology will be working with the State to make required upgrades to the main County Servers. From 4pm Thursday, until about midnight, all County Clerk applications will be unavailable.

Hours of Operation

The Office of the Westchester County Clerk is open from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. weekdays
Passports/Licensing is open from 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Passport and Westchester County ID applications are now accepted five days a week.
For your convenience, documents may be delivered to the County Clerk by use of the drop box located in the lobby of the courthouse.

The Westchester County Clerk's office is no longer issuing hunting and fishing licenses. To find out where you can purchase a hunting or fishing license within New York State and Westchester, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation provides a search tool to locate sporting license vendors, or you can utilize the online and phone sporting licenses issuing system.
